Dear guest,
I'm very new to the art of photography inheriting my husbands fathers old Pentax SLR only a few years ago, which I still have. These days I use a digital Pentax which has opened up a whole new world, although the rules of photography still remain the same. My love and respect of the natural world I received from my own parents a priceless gift of seeing beauty where others may not.
I have lived in the Swan Valley, Western Australia, with my husband Steve and two sons Michael and Mathew for the last 23yrs. The unique character and many changing moods of the area a constant supply of inspiration. I would like to thank my husband Steve, who is battling Motor Neurone Disease himself, for his constant support and encouragement to find time for my photography and follow my dreams. Lastly I thank my boys for their understanding (patience with my lack of computer savvy) and love which I treasure always.
Please have a browse of some of my photo's and feel free to email me. I do read my mail but please forgive me if I take a couple of days to reply as I care for my husband at home and don't always have a lot of spare time. Most are limited editions with varying number of prints as shown.
I also have images on display at Windy Creek Estate Winery and I would like to take this opportunity to say one last thank you to Ruth and Tony Cobonov for allowing me to exhibit at their winery. If you happen to be in the Valley pay them a visit they are extremely nice people and Tony makes a top drop of wine.
Regards Karen Brown
